He studied Electrical Engineering at Yıldız Technical University. During the same period, he actively worked in the Yıldız Cinema Club. In 2009, he took on the role of coordinator for the 6th Yıldız Short Film Festival. He attended the Atıf Yılmaz Studio for a year.

 

Since 2006, he has made many short films and participated in festivals with these films. In 2010, he attended festivals with his first feature-length documentary, 'Autumn in Bayrampaşa'. In 2014, he received awards at the Boston and Nuremberg Film Festivals with his documentary 'Little Black Fish'. From 2010 to the present, he has actively worked in the industry as an assistant director in many films and digital platform projects, including those from companies like Netflix and Miramax. Through these experiences, he collaborated with valuable directors, producers, and team members, producing projects that drew nearly 20 million viewers in cinemas and won countless awards at festivals.

 

In 2022, he founded Torus Pictures and produced the film 'Leak in the City Cemetery' in 2023. During the same period, the film 'Breath', which he wrote and directed, made its world premiere at the Utah Red Rock Film Festival and won the Micro-Budget Fiction Short Production award. 'Breath' competed in festivals in Germany, South Korea, India, and Turkey, and he was awarded the Best Director Award at the 24th International Izmir Short Film Festival.
